Another year has come and gone
It's been a big year for me. I got featured on a number of sites, got everything done in time for the CSS Reboot Fall and got a job at Dhimahi. I even got around to start watching Futurama, and haven't stopped since :) This little blog wannabe has gotten quite a few visitors, topping out at 6118 in November (mostly due to CSS Reboot) and now has a steady flow of feed readers, even if I'm not writing much these days. So what's in store for this little playground of mine in 2006 Well a new...

Screenspired
I've just been featured on screenspire.com. I was just browsing through todays links and found a screen of my site. You can imagine my surprise. It is indeed a great honour to be listed. screenspire.com is a no-embellishment, no-comments, no-technology-favored source for recent website-designs, daily collected and handcrafted in an inspiring full( )screen view Thanks a bunch screenspire!

R.I.P.
Just found out that earlier this month, one of the funniest man by my account had died. Richard Pryor was, as he would've said, one funny mother fu*ker. He was the first african american to make a living from telling jokes, and he did it without shame, attacking subjects like sex, drugs and rasism. He had been battling multiple sclerosis for the past 20 years and on December 10th he died at the age 65 of a heart attack. Richard, you will be sadly missed!

Feed icons
A moment ago I was browsing throgh the screenspire screens and came accross Feed Icons. By adopting this icon as the identity of syndicated content, you're helping to... Eleminate confusion brought on by acronyms.Break down the international barriers.Bring feeds to the forefront. This made me browse through some of the blogs on my rojo feed list and found Matt's entrie. He linked to a post on the Micro$oft blog that suprised me a bit. I’m excited to announce that we’re...

One Billion Internet Users
According to Jakob Nielsen, a whopping 1 billion users now utilize the world wide web. We've come a long way baby. From two computers networked together to a billion in just 36 years. Some time in 2005, we quietly passed a dramatic milestone in Internet history: the one-billionth user went online. Because we have no central register of Internet users, we don't know who that user was, or when he or she first logged on. Statistically, we're likely talking about a 24-year-old woman in Shanghai....

ZEK advance
The ZEK advance ribbon was cut today unveiling the brand spanking new website. This is the personal portfolio of a group of street artists based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. If you live in Ljubljana you've surley noticed their logo sprayed all over the place. My part included XHTML, CSS and PHP coding, the design was made by the ZEK crew (namely Žiga Aljaž). Hope you like it.

iPod nano
Hell yeah :) I bought one too. And the name suits it best. It really is impossibly small. I couldn't belive my eyes when I saw it, let alone held it in my hand. At 64 grams it feels like carying next to nothing. Amazing. I got the 2gb black version and this little big player has a load of features. The thing I fell in love with right away is the Click Wheel. Impossibly simple. All it takes is a few minutes to get used to it. Take everything you love about iPod and shrink it. Now shrink it...
