Last night I finally saw the oh so talked about movie The Da Vinci Code.
I found the movie in it self well thought out (warning *spoiler*) except for the Teacher twist. I belive that a movie can have only so many character twists ^^. Obvioulsy Tom Hanks was great, as he is in all movies, but I'm not so sure for Audrey Tautou. My layman oppinion is that her acting was a bit poor at times.
The A-P-P-L-E thing was a bit dissapointing too. If Da Vinci would've left something like that hidden away (I'm not saying that he hasn't ^^), I doubt such an easy word would be used.
I left the theatre with somewhat mixed emotions. I think all the fuss about this movie set too high standards for it and thus didn't really live up to my expectations. All in all a good movie, but that's just about it. They will probably win an oscar or two, but not for best movie.
The verdict: 7/10.
