Announcing Unorderedlist
It gives me great pleasure to announce the release of my newest creation - unorderedlist.net. For now the site will function mainly as a local web development job board, with other content bound to emerge soon. This project has been a long time coming, as I have contemplated implementing a decent job board on several occasions. After recently talking things over with a few of the local developers, I decided the time is more than right. All of the job ads can be added free of charge, but...

Reboot
Third time is the charm. And this time around I'm really satisfied with the finished site. Really really :) I was trying to make a site that would be very readble, almost newspapper-like, but at the same time keep it as simple as possible. The real reason I entered again in this event (now for the third straigth time) is that I wasn't really satisfied with the last reboot. At first it looked sweet, but as time went by, I realised that I made a few mistakes. The first one beeing, trying to...

Ski school Podkoren & Smeh je pol zdravja
Proudly presenting Ski School Podkoren, the latest website I created. For this I did my usual bit, well, just about everything. Website design, XHTML & CSS and PHP & MySQL integration. Ski school Podkoren offers a wide range of skiing and snowboarding courses that will help you stay on your feet when you hit the slopes. Also released late last month was this little extension of hribar.info - smeh je pol zdravja. It is a small archive of jokes I receive daily from my spammers, you know...

ZEK advance
The ZEK advance ribbon was cut today unveiling the brand spanking new website. This is the personal portfolio of a group of street artists based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. If you live in Ljubljana you've surley noticed their logo sprayed all over the place. My part included XHTML, CSS and PHP coding, the design was made by the ZEK crew (namely Žiga Aljaž). Hope you like it.

Here we go
So, November 1st is here, and it's time to unveil the new design. I'm quite satisfied with the new look, but as said, I've kept the old one as well. change style to minimal change style to fall As I write this there are still some kinks when you view the site in IE, but I tested it in all other modern browsers, and IE seems to be the only one having problems.Hope you like it.

Site updates
With these site updates hribar.info is set for the css-reboot project I talked about earlier. So with the structure of the document the way I want it, I focused my tired brain cels on making a new head for this minimal design. I guess I got tired of the old one and so made a completly new navigation and logo/typeface. The logo has a kind of a devilish aftertaste to it and perhaps has a deeper meaning (check out the worth a look section for the comment on Which religion is the right one for...

Winamp playlist
I first came across the winamp recently played list on Janne's blog. He had already written a good entrie about the things required to make it all work, but he did not get into the more technical lingo, or even to show some of the code that he used to make the whole thing work. So I decided to take it a step further for all you bloggers who want to show the world what you're listening to while you're behind your computer.

carlitv.com, end of developing near?
Two sites announced in a span of two days?! You must think I'm crazy. Well I am, but that's beside the point :) I've had this site under my wing for too long now and it's about time I put the finishing touches on it. Some of the features will be missing at first, at least until the people responsible for it make up their minds. For now I took the idea I got for splet01.net (look for a post I made yesterday) and have put up an email signup form, where people can signup to receive the email the...

splet01.net coming back from retirement
Nope, you read it right. It's coming back, bigger and better than ever before - splet01.net. David and yours truly are working on bringing it back online soon. So far only the design is done, but it's a step in the right direction. For now you can leave us your email and you'll be notified when it's back for good. Expect big things in the near future :)

Some changes
I' ve made a few changes to the site. I've added the 'worth a look' section in the sidebar. I find it very usefull and fun :) It's basicly stuff that I read throught the day and don't want to forget, and I forget a lot.. A full list should be available shortly. And I finnaly made some much needed changes to the CSS on this site. You might notice all of the headings never looked better. I'm surprised I didn't see the mess before. Take my advice, don't bold andything if it doesn't have to be...

New book, new design...
I took klaut's advice and got my hands on the book she recomended. Web Standards Solutions: The Markup and Style Handbook writen by Danc Cederholm. I finally realised how many things I was doing wrong. So to begin with, I have redone the entire site with the mentioned book in my hand :) I have checked all of the sites for XHTML W3C compliancy and they all came back valid. I also decided to make the site a bit more accesible by using the Phark Method for image replacement. /* The Phark...

First post
So much has been done, so much has yet to be done. But for what its worth, this is the first post on this brand new personal portfolio. I've had this blog looking site on my hard drive for quite some time before I finnaly decided to put the whole thing online. And so hribar.info came to life.
